As 2nd Panzer's handful of tanks advanced in the difficult terrain, the Soviets, still able to operate behind the German lines, attacked. The tanks then had to turn around and head back to restore the situation.
Objectives: Your company is still deployed as platoon sized groups. Your platoon is to move south and recapture the village that is in enemy hands. This will restore our line of communication in this area. Again, be cautious about exposing your self to fire; stay "buttoned up" unless confident the area is clear of enemy positions. In addition to antitank rifles and machine gun positions, at least a platoon of armored cars have been reported in or near the village.
